The new chalet is just perfect. It’s beautifully designed inside to make the most of the space and has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable and relaxed stay. Sitting on the balcony watching the sun set with uninterrupted view of the beautiful countryside beyond is one of the memories we will treasure for a long time.

We have enjoyed many stays at Rossignol over the last few years & Summer 2023 was no exception! Such a peaceful location surrounded by farmland & woods & in beautiful grounds with an orchard & fields beyond in the other direction. The heated pool is amazing too. Last year was spent in the chalet as opposed to the cottage. A great addition to the accommodation providing separate sleeping space, fully equipped shower room & toilet facilities and another space with fridge, sink & kettle provided. The roof space also offers a separate bedroom as well as the living space downstairs with a very comfy bed. Perfect to give family or friends some separate quiet space with it’s own little verandah with garden & woodland/field views away from the cottage but a stones throw from the easily accessible pool and cottage. Everything has been considered at Rossignol which is well equipped to give visitors a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be heading back again this year to switch off & totally relax in a truly beautiful place full of French rustic charm!

What a fantastic week. The pool is great & the weather allowed us to make full use of it every day (even once, a night swim). We managed to fit visits in to Brantome, Bourdeilles (medieval castle), Perigueux and Bordeaux all great days out. Aubetterre is a great little village with great little restaurants. 'La Taverne' on the lower road is both a restaurant and a barbeque also 'Le Garage' on the upper road does great burgers and wraps and has a fantastic view of the valley whilst you are eating. The cottage has been great, we've wanted for nothing. Hope the next family get as much pleasure as we have. We'll definitely be coming back.

We spent 2 weeks at Rossignol. The first week had mixed weather so we travelled around - Brantome, Bordeaux, St Emillion, Perigieux are all within an hour's drive. The second week was hot & sunny so we just chilled by the pool. The dog loved it, and the garden is fully fenced in. Highly recommended for couples or a family.

We've had a fantastic time. The gite is well equipped and the girls loved the pool especially. We've enjoyed many interesting experiences. Friday market at Riberac, Villars Caves (Amazing), Sarlat was magnificent, a day excursion to a fantastic beach, kayaking at the beautiful Aubetterre and our final day with a local "Labryninthe Vegetial' Great fun, lovely and hot 30c+. We would love to return one day.

Had a great time. Great gite, pool was warm, clean and great fun for all of us. Beautiful area and lovely interesting places to visit. Aubetterre, Bourdielles, Perigueux, Brantome. Hope to be back again in the future.
